  • Accounts are to be settled immediately after consultation, and patient will then submit to medical aid for reimbursement.
  • Payments remain the responsibility of the patient, even if the patient is a member of a medical aid.
  • All appointments will be charged for in full, unless cancelled 24 hours in advance.

In terms of the Consumer Protection Act, Thrive Medical and Patient will discuss the First Appointment Fee prior to an appointment.

Prescription for schedule 5 & 6 medications may not be faxed or e-mailed (Pharmacy Board Regulations).

The Doctor should be contacted after hours only in a case of emergency.

The quality of medical care is constrained by your disclosure of all relevant medical and mental conditions and symptoms.

The patient remains responsible for following his/her physician's advice, prescriptions and life-style suggestions.
